How to Adjust Your Eyeglasses?

Most minor adjustments can be done at home, but for best results—and to avoid damage—we recommend visiting an optician.  Here are a few simple tips:

- Temples (arms) too loose or tight?
Gently bend the arms inward (to tighten) or outward (to loosen) near the hinge.  For metal frames, warm them slightly with a hairdryer first.

- Glasses sliding down your nose?
Adjust the nose pads (on metal frames) closer together, or bend the temple tips behind your ears for a snugger fit.

- One side sits higher than the other?
Bend the higher temple arm slightly downward at the hinge, or adjust the earpiece curve.

- Plastic frames need adjusting?
Warm them under warm (not hot) water for 20–30 seconds to make them pliable before gently bending.

⚠️ Caution: Over-bending can break your glasses. Remember to make a small adjustment and be extra careful each time.
